Data Deletion

Audio Transcription Recorder stores your recordings and transcripts locally on your device by default.

Delete Individual Items

1. Open the app library.
2. Open the recording you want to remove.
3. Use the delete option in the recording details screen.

Delete All App Data

1. Android Settings → Apps → Audio Transcription Recorder.
2. Tap Storage & cache.
3. Tap Clear storage / Clear data.

Uninstall

Uninstalling the app removes app-local data. If you exported files to another location, those exported files remain unless you delete them separately.

Cloud Provider Data

If you used optional cloud transcription with your own API keys, provider-side data handling is controlled by that provider's policies.
