Audio Transcription Recorder is developed by Larcramp. This app is designed to prioritize local processing and user control.

2. Information We Process

• Audio recordings and imported audio files.
• Generated transcripts and transcript edits.
• Optional settings such as selected transcription engine.
• Optional diagnostics logs used to troubleshoot app issues.

3. Where Data Is Stored

By default, recordings and transcripts are stored locally on your device. We do not automatically upload your content to our servers.

App databases, local settings, and recorded files are excluded from Android cloud backup and device-transfer backup flows.

4. Cloud Transcription (Optional)

If you choose a cloud transcription engine and provide your own API key, selected audio content is sent directly to the chosen provider for transcription. Use of those services is governed by their own privacy policies and terms.

5. In-App Purchases

The app may offer optional support purchases through Google Play Billing (tip jar). Purchases do not unlock features and are not required to use the app.

6. Data Retention and Deletion

You can delete recordings and transcripts at any time from inside the app. You can also uninstall the app to remove app-local data.

7. Security

We apply reasonable technical measures to protect local data handling. No system can be guaranteed 100% secure.

8. Children

This app is not directed to children under 13.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Updates will be posted on this page with a revised effective date.
